Causeway U3A harp course
The Causeway U3A Traditional Irish Harp Beginner level 2 Course level 2 will commence on Monday 6th January and will run for 6 weeks until 10th February. Classes will be from 10-11am in Portballintrae Village Hall. Lap harps are provided and a harp rental scheme is available at an additional cost. This class is currently full, but if you are interested in a future beginners class, just get in touch via the contact button below.
Pupils prepare for graded exams in Irish Traditional Harp through the London College of Music in these classes. Repertoire and technique will be developed throughout the year, with exams taken in the summer term. Classes take place in Portballintrae Village Hall on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings, running for 6-8 week blocks at a time, following the structure of the school term.
Saturday Morning Adult Classes

Introduction to the Harp Workshop
10th April FULLY BOOKED; 17th April SPACES
We have 2 ‘Introduction to the Harp’ workshops running over the Easter holidays in The Designerie, Bushmills. Participants will learn basic harp technique and will learn to play a traditional Irish tune together on the harp. Harps are of course provided and coffee and scones will be served. The workshop will take place 11am-1pm upstairs in The Designerie. This promises to be a lovely morning of harp, music, coffee and fun!
